Is it just me, or does Tiffany & Co. drop collabs about every fortnight? This time, they’ve unveiled a jewellery masterpiece born from a creative alliance with the acclaimed artist Daniel Arsham.

In their latest collaboration, Daniel Arsham worked on Tiffany & Co.’s iconic T1 bracelet, transforming it into a dazzling piece of wearable art. The renowned artist, known for his innovative approach and unique aesthetic, sprinkled the T1 bracelet with diamonds in his favorite colors and fashioned it into a box in the form of an antique bust.

“The Amalgamated Bust of Venus of Arles brings together multiple Tiffany elements to tell a cohesive story about heritage, craftsmanship, and savoir faire—all of which are very much part of Tiffany’s identity,” says the artist Daniel Arsham.

Daniel Arsham, the visionary American artist born in 1980 and currently based in New York City, brings his unique perspective to Tiffany & Co.’s iconic T1 bracelet. Arsham, known for creating installations and objects that evoke a mythical contemporary archaeology, applies his multidisciplinary approach to film, painting, sculpture, and installation, often distorting recognizable forms into corroded, calcified, or glitched-out artifacts.

Arsham’s practice, which includes elements of architecture and performance, involves manipulating familiar forms, such as a cereal box or classical sculpture, to achieve his desired effect. This collaboration with Tiffany & Co. serves as a testament to his ability to blend tradition with modernity, infusing new life into timeless pieces like the T1 bracelet.

Having studied at Cooper Union in New York, Daniel Arsham has exhibited his works globally, leaving his mark in cities like New York, Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai, Los Angeles, and London. His distinctive creations find homes in prestigious collections such as the Musée Guimet, the National Gallery of Victoria, the Pérez Art Museum Miami, and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami.

Beyond his fine art practice, Arsham has collaborated with renowned brands, including Adidas, Dior, and Porsche. His creative prowess extends to the realm of sports, having served as the creative director for the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team. In 2008, Arsham co-founded Snarkitecture, an art and architecture collaborative, alongside Alex Mustonen.

As Tiffany & Co. continues its tradition of collaborating with visionary artists, the T1 x Arsham collaboration stands out as a collectible masterpiece. The Amalgamated Bust of Venus of Arles not only enhances the allure of the T1 bracelet but also invites admirers to appreciate the intersection of heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary expression through the eyes of the exceptionally talented Daniel Arsham.
